Service Description
Class Objective: This class will be designed to improve your sewing, cutting and pressing accuracy and perfecting those points!! When used correctly, your points will match. Learn the basics of utilizing the Tucker Trimmer I while piecing half square triangle units, combination units and quarter square triangles or hour glass units. You will learn how to recognize these units in other patterns and adjust the sizes to "Tuckerise" your blocks while piecing these units with perfect points and how to size your units from first cut to your final trim. Ultimately, we will be making the Star and Square block. Supply List: Tucker Trimmer I with Invisagrip or non-slide grips on back. Magic Wand 3 coordinating fat quarters Coordinating thread Patchwork Pins Machine in good working order, full bobbin, a new size 12 needle (I prefer microtex or topstitch) Rotary cutter and mat (rotating mat if you have one) Small portable iron and ironing pad Mechanical Pencil, micro pen or Frixion- NEEDS to be fine point, .05 or .005 Optional tools I utilize: Purple Thang or other stiletto Seam Guide Ruler Small sharp scissors (I prefer Karen K Buckley- less likely to ravel) Magic Quilt Starch Spray
