Service Description

Please read our Classroom Basic Supply List and Classroom Etiquette Sheets before signing up for any classes. You can find them under the Classes Tab above. Please bring the following tools to class: • Sewing machine (don’t forget the power cord and foot pedal) • Bobbins • Scissors • Pins • Seam ripper By the end of this class, you will learn the parts of your machine and how to use them. Your skills will include threading your machine, checking the tension, stitching both forward and backward, creating a French seam, inserting a zipper, and more. By the end of the class, you will complete two projects. Below, you will find additional supplies necessary to complete these projects. We truly appreciate your support of our business by purchasing your supplies from us. If you purchase your supplies from Stitched in Schertz, you will receive a 10% discount on all purchases for this class. Project #1: Pillowcase • 3⁄4 yard main pillowcase fabric (27” x width of fabric from selvage to selvage) • 1⁄4 yard cuff fabric (9” x width of fabric from selvage to selvage) • Accent strip fabric (2” x width of fabric from selvage to selvage) • Coordinating or neutral color thread (neutral colors include white, tan, gray, etc.) Project #2: Zipper Bag • 1 fat quarter (this will be the outside of the bag) • 1 fat quarter (this will be in the inside of the bag) • Zipper (10” or longer) • Coordinating or neutral thread
